We are looking to extend our prize-winning post production pipeline to the other side of the Atlantic. By hiring you as an all-round generalist, we want to kickstart a local post production team, specialized in crafting VR experiences.

As a VR and VFX compositor at MediaMonks, you employ your broad post production skills to piece togetherfabulous 360 videos and full-fledged VR experiences on behalf of the world’s leading advertising agencies. You’ll be part of a brand-new team that supports our 50-Monk strong post production department in Europe.

About the Job

• Compositing at MediaMonks involves working with traditional as well as newer composition solutions — both your tools and the work itself will constantly evolve.

• You’ll work with footage from a wide range of 360 cameras, stitching live action shots together seamlessly.
• We believe the level of quality and craft we strive for can only be attained when compositors are directly involved in the planning of the VR shots themselves. This means you are expected to contribute to technical and creative solutions throughout the production process.

About You

• You boast at least 3 years of compositing experience and have worked on 360/VR projects before.
• When it comes to compositing, you are solution-driven and know how to navigate the fast-changing world of VR technologies and tools.
• In addition to NUKE, you know about specialized 360 stitching software and the dos & don’ts of producing great VR content.
• Last but certainly not least, you’re a great English communicator. You provide unambiguous updates on the progress of your projects and know how to precisely describe problems and required actions to your coworkers abroad.
