Con Brasil a la cabeza, el shortlist encuentra a Argentina compitiendo con 7 piezas, al igual que España. Por su parte, Perú y Puerto Rico ingresaron con 3, mientras que Chile, Costa Rica y Guatemala competirán con un trabajo por país.
