Los Jurados completos de Cannes 2019

El Festival Cannes Lions contará en esta oportunidad con tres presidentes latinos: José Miguel Sokoloff, Presidente del Consejo Creativo Global de MullenLowe & CCO de MullenLowe UK, quien presidirá Radio & Audio, en Brand Experience & Activation, será Jaime Mandelbaum, Chief Creative Officer de VMLY&R, Europe y, por último, PJ Pereira, Co-founder & Creative Chairman, Pereira O´Dell, quien juzgará Social & Influencer. Además, ya confirmados por la organización, serán 72 jurados presenciales y digitales y en solo 3 categorías (Creative eCommerce, Creative Strategy y Glass) de las 27, no habrá presencia latina.

A menos de un mes del Festival Internacional de Creativida Cannes Lions, se han confirmado los jurados completos de todas las categorías. De esta manera quedó confirmado que habrá tres Presidentes de Jurado y 72 jurados distribuidos en 24 de las 27 categorías de esta edición.

En primer término, se destaca la presencia de José Miguel Sokoloff, Presidente del Consejo Creativo Global de MullenLowe & CCO de MullenLowe UK, quien presidirá Radio & Audio, en Brand Experience & Activation, será Jaime Mandelbaum, Chief Creative Officer de VMLY&R, Europe y, por último, PJ Pereira, Co-founder & Creative Chairman, Pereira O´Dell, quien juzgará Social & Influencer.

A los tres seleccionados para presidir, se suman 72 latinos repartidos en agencias y empresas en todo el mundo. Brasil, es el país que suma la mayor cantidad de jurados, al mismo tiempo que será la primera vez que una mujer de República Dominicana, juzgue las mejores ideas.

Desde la organización del Festival informaron que en esta oportunidad "el compromiso con mejorar la diversidad y el equilibrio de género en sus jurados se hizo presente, ya que el 48% de los miembros del jurado son mujeres, frente a años anteriores. Por primera vez de Jordania y Marruecos este año".

En 2019, los jurados están representados por el más alto nivel de experiencia en la industria a nivel mundial. Hay tres miembros del jurado honrados como Oficial de la Orden del Imperio Británico (OBE) y una amplia variedad de especialidades de todo el panorama de la industria. 

Simon Cook, Director Ejecutivo de Cannes Lions, dijo en el comunicado: “A medida que la forma del trabajo y la industria evolucionan, también lo hacen nuestros jurados. 2019 es nuestro jurado más diverso hasta el momento, y representa una amplia gama de países, antecedentes y experiencias especializadas de todos los rincones de la industria. Nuestros jurados desempeñan un papel crucial para garantizar que mantenemos el punto de referencia mundial y mantenemos la creatividad de clase mundial, en todas sus formas, en el corazón del Festival".
