PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. QA Engineer will be responsible for testing activities of several web based software applications across multiple browsers.? The role will involve reviewing creative designs, functional specifications and business requirements to perform manual and automated testing and report defects throughout the software development life cycle.? This position requires an organized, detail oriented and technically skilled individual with good understanding of Agile Development. Candidate must have significant experience testing high-traffic consumer facing web applications.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent customer relations skills, must be sensitive to the customer’s needs and show a sense of urgency to address issues
• Strong written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate or student to get Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 5+ years of experience testing software and websites, preferably across multiple browsers
• Extensive Manual Testing experience on web based applications
• Ability to interpret business requirements and functional specifications documents
• Ability to formulate test plans and test cases
• Remarkable ability to act independently on multiple projects/assignments and execute project tasks under aggressive deadlines
• Proven experience with Front End testing
• Ability to work independently without close supervision

Able to work full time from 10 am to 19 pm
