Primeros finalistas de Cannes Lions 2021

(04/06/21). Cannes Lions dio a conocer los primeros shortlists de la edición 2021 entre los cuales se encuentran trabajos de Brasil (5), Colombia (2), España (2),  Estados Unidos (2) y Uruguay, Argentina, México, Perú ycon un finalista cada uno. En la nota todos los trabajos que siguen en competencia por un premio en Titanium, Glass e Innovación.

En Titanium la región representada por España, Estados Unidos y Brasil con tabajos de David Madrid para Burger King; FCB Chicago con una pieza para ABInbev, We Believers con un trabajo para Corona, y Africa con la campaña para Go Equal Movement, ya consagrada en El Ojo de Iberoamérica 2019 con el Gran Ojo Sustentable, se ubican dentro de un shorlist de 20 trabajos que siguen en competencia.

Glass: Lions of Change tiene un total de 20 finalistas, de los cuales 4 son de la región, se trata de los trabajos de las agencias brasileñas Studio Tesis Sao Paulo para Santander Bank; AKQA San Pablo para Google; VMLY&R Brasil con I am para Starbucks, ganadora en El Ojo de Iberoamérica 2020 del Gran Ojo Experiencia de Marca & Activación; y LOLA MulllenLowe Madrid para Dove/Beauty.

Por último en la categoría Innovation la región tiene 7 finalistas sobre un total de 17. Se trata de dos trabajos de Colombia, uno correspondiente a Draftline Bogotá para AB-INBEV; otro de Wunderman Thompson Bogotá para Edina Energy. Uruguay sigue en competencia con el trabajo de The Electric Factory Montevideo para Toyota, Brasil con la campaña de AKQA San Pablo para Instituto Raoni; México a través de Leo Burnett y su trabajo para Google, Perú se suma al shortlist con una campaña de Andea Cusco, y por último Argentina suma una chance más para la región con Degree Inclusive Deodorant, de Wunderman Thompson Argentina para Unilever.
